“THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!” I wrote these eight simple words almost 20 years ago in my new log book the day I received my PADI Junior Open Water certification. These words combined with a true passion for the underwater world, have transformed my life and taken me around the world. Teaching diving has since become a career and a privilege which I would gladly share with you.

I have had the pleasure of representing PADI in the Americas/Caribbean, Canada and South East Asia, which has allowed me opportunities to gain an appreciation for several cultures and diverse diving audiences. However, I am most excited to return to Koh Tao Thailand, where I started my career as a dive professional. The team at Sunshine Divers, has created strong partnerships with PADI and leading dive resorts on Koh Tao, with the goal of providing quality programs and advancing diving within the greater Tourism Industry in South East Asia. Our commitment to protecting the underwater environment, offering memorable dive experiences, and providing superior educational programs, can be witnessed in our everyday activities at the dive centre. Our philosophy of providing personalized, quality PADI programs in a tranquil environment carries through into the Instructor Development Courses. As well as receiving one-on-one dive counseling, you will have the opportunity to work together with candidates and staff from Ban’s Diving Resort, our sister dive centre on the island. Unlike any other, this unique partnership gives you the chance to learn under the guidance and experience of four Course Directors. Combined, our dive centres certify over ten-thousand students a year, giving you the chance to see the conduct of all levels of diver training during your internship. We blend modern technology and amenities with a tropical backdrop to create the perfect environment from which to learn.
