PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
After the completion of the IDC you have an opportunity to achieve the rating (MSDT), Master Scuba Diver Trainer through an internship program.
The pre-requisites for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer
(MSDT) rating are five specialties and certification of 25 students
within
any level of the PADI System of Diver Education. During Sunshine/Ban’s
Internship Training you are not only taking a MSDT Preparation
Course but you actually certify 25 students and finish off as a Master
Scuba
Diver Trainer.
During this 4-5 day program, you can choice to become
instructor
in five of those specialties:
- Enriched Air Instructor
- Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) Instructor
- Deep Diving Instructor
- Photo Instructor
- Video Instructor

- Naturalist Instructor
- Multilevel Instructor
- Peak Performance Buoyancy Instructor
- Search and Recovery Instructor
- Night Dive Instructor

Additional specialties available:
- Re-breather Diver and Instructor
- DSAT Tec Deep and Apprentice Tec Diver Instructor
Once the preparation course is completed, candidates can
begin their internship straight away (see later in this guide for more details).
